GreyScale – Bass Keep Buzzin’ (prod. by Nomak)
New track from the homie GreyScale! “Bass Keep Buzzin’” produced by Nomak. I wrote this track back when I first started making music and its just been sitting in my rhyme book until recently. The instrumental tape “Combine” by Nomak was one of the first tapes I wrote to when I started out. The track “Doze Off” was a definite standout from the project and when I heard it I wrote the entire song in one sitting, which is a rarity for me. “Bass Keep Buzzin’” is a sincere, heartfelt ode to Boom Bap Hiphop, and the art of rhyming. Stretch by JuneLyfe JuneLyfe is a Boston based MC and singer / songwriter most known for his work with the Cool Collective Reps (CCRMG) as 1/3 of the hip-hop group Retrospek. “Stretch” is June’s first single off of his forthcoming project ‘Rhythm iN Black’ which is both his first solo album and also his first RnB album, presenting a new side of his musical craft. “Stretch”, though the most overtly sexual song on the album, avoids the obvious, simplistic interpretation with a multi-layered lyrical style characteristic of the entire project. ‘Rhythm iN Black’ is set to drop early 2014.
