New BR Video for ‘Dance With You’ Feat. Teddy Riley & Clinton Sparks!
Legendary producer Teddy Riley provides an infectious talkbox vocal delivery throughout the track, while producer and artist Clinton Sparks acts as the party’s MVP and enlists dance crew Static Noyze (of MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” fame) for a 90s dance call-out sequence. In other words: what every party should be like.
“The guys and I had so much fun creating this record,” Teddy Riley says. “Thanks to Clinton Sparks for taking us back to the roots of New Jack Swing, in its rarest form. Bad Rabbits are the new jack swingers of this millennium and will be a household name of a generation to come, like Earth Wind & Fire.”
The song comes from the band’s “American Dream” project, which will be produced by Riley. The group’s latest release was this year’s B. Lewis-produced album, “American Love.”
“The song is a quintessential feel good, party song. Visually, we wanted to pay homage to the classic Wreckx-N-Effect – ‘Rump Shaker’ video, but do it New England style,” Bad Rabbits said. “We chose the perfect location to throw a raging New England style party: Lake Massapoag in Sharon, Massachusetts, which was voted one of the best U.S. towns to live in. We all lived the American Dream that day.”
The band and Riley will perform “Dance With You” on “The Arsenio Hall Show” on Sept 24.
