Hometown heavyweights N.B.S. ‘Turn Up the Heat’ off of their recently released EP “The Dispensary” with long-time friend CheckMark (of Skitzofreniks) and label mate Virtuoso. Backed by gritty explosive production from Vanderslice (Army of the Pharaohs, Alchemist, Evidence, Blaq Poet), the Cambridge emcee’s show exactly why they’ve been mainstays of independent street conscious hip-hop. The video is dedicated to fallen brother Erik “Eddie Bones” Brown. Erik was responsible for the production of the groundbreaking hip-hop group Skitzofreniks (along with emcee CheckMark). Celebrated for his funk centric true school production, Erik played a major part in providing the soundscape for current hip-hop favorites like Termanology and Reks.
