JD Nelson aka Gadget joined with Eric Jenkins to start Fever Magazine in the Fort Hill section of Roxbury in the early 90’s; ICP Studio (1990), Fever Magazine (c. 1992).

Over several years running Fever Magazine and ICP (Inner Circle Production) Studio the family grew to include Karriem “King Beef” Ali (R.I.P), Fabian “Backtrack” Murray, Bruce “Mr. B” Sinclair, Jamie Scott, Christian “Cnote” Reis, Khalif “K Woo” Nelson aka Bird, John Gotti.

Fever Magazine did high profile interviews with then underground and now legendary Hip-Hop groups such as; Wu-Tang Clan, Biggie Smalls, Craig Mack, EPMD, KRS, Common, Black Moon, Mobb Deep, Group Home, M.O.P., Alkoholiks, etc.

Locally in Boston, Fever Magazine worked with some of Boston’s Legends; Concrete Click, Kool Gezus,  Rip Shop/Big O/Johnny Hatch (Mikst Nutz), Akrobatik, Mr. Lif, M-Slash (Wildfire), and more….
