Retro – Sodes 6 & 7

The whole CCR and Scope Urban Apparel fam came out in full effect to support the release of our debut album. Watch as Dua and Catch Wreck break down the evening after the show and other rediculousness that carried on outside of the Middle East Club. In this Retro-sode the guys take a trip to New York City for a show at the Nuyorican poets cafe but due to Rah not feeling well he had to stay home, Catch Wreck accompanied June and Spenda on the trip, check out how there crazy night unfolds.

Project Hip-Hop Breath (Live Performance)

Project HIP-HOP (PHH) works with young people to help them look at how they have been affected by injustice and to support them to imagine a different future for themselves and for our community. We created a new innovative performance piece, called “Breathe”; Utilizing Image Theater techniques from the Theater of the Oppressed canon; “Breathe” was conceived and developed as a hip-hop image skit on environmental issues (globally and locally). It explores the idea that the same forces ( the 1%) that drain our planet of it’s natural resources drain our communities of their financial resources rendering them both unable to “Breathe”. This piece includes different elements of hip-hop (mc-ing, krumping, turntabilsm, poetry, theater and music) superimposed over urban images. PHH is competing in a global song competition for the Rio Earth Summit this June. When the website got hacked we lost lots of votes so we really need your help to win this competition. All you have to do is click on the website and scroll down to vote. You don’t have to create an account or sign up for anything. Also, you can vote everyday and you can vote from a computer and your mobile phone. If you really want to help our youth, forward this message and save it as a bookmark so you can vote ever 24 hours! Give Us a VOTE! Every 24 hours so We could perform at Rio Earth Summit this June Please and thank you! http://www.global-rockstar.net/project-hip-hop-breath
