On Saturday, May 11, 2013, The Arcitype set up his portable studio inside the doors of Kyoto Jungle, a local clothing boutique run by the Boston-based clothing brand Annie Mulz.
For 8 hours, The Arcitype got busy producing a completely original 10-track beat tape, ‘Evolution’.
The Evolution beat tape contains no samples. All parts were played and/or recorded and all the beats were conceptualized and created on the spot in the store.
